guilty

He nervously darted,
He vigorously quivered
both couldn't see the eye of each other
He yearned to speak him mind
He further withdrew in his confines
the winds gushed, tides rise to fall,
dark contours possessed the shores,
threatening to challenge resolve
Bruised with deep ridges and furrows,
he cocooned within the dark core
slashed with incisions, cut and sore
he shut himself tight, sealed both curves
Amidst the pandemonium on beats,
the core darkened, doors creaked
Each struggled to defend their identity,
while the conscience pulled apart hide from seek
they both stood vulnerable before naked truth
He welled up in tears, he fumbled in fear
while each confessed, judicious soul lent a patient ear
Alas the mind was relieved of its sins,
Eyes could see eye to eye, lips could smile and speak
I was no longer guilty of a lie.
